The quality of photos on a web site has to be a compromise to allow you to download the animal pictures within a reasonable time frame and we hope that Afrikeye have achieved the right sort of level. The idea is that no individual photograph should take over twenty seconds to load on a reasonable connection (56kbps or higher). Because of this many pictures are not as high quality as we would want them to be in an ideal world. If there are any animal pictures or endangered species that you would like to be included but cannot find in the gallery please send us a request using the feedback page and we will see what we can do to oblige you. You are welcome to use any of the animal pictures on the provisions that the use is for non-commercial academic purposes and that you credit Afrikeye who retain worldwide copyright for all pictures. For any other use of the photos please submit a request for approval. |

animal pictures contained within these pages were all taken in Southern Africa over the past
few of years by Afrikeye photographers and partners. Because we restrict the
photographs only to those taken by our own staff and associates the number of
wildlife photos is limited but, we hope a representative and helpful sample of
the endangered species that can be found in Southern Africa
