For anyone who is looking to buy a special present and support wildlife conservation at the same time, AWDC has some limited edition African wildlife prints for sale. The prints are high quality reproductions from original paintings by AWDC project director and artist Kellie Leigh during her research work in the Lower Zambezi Valley in Zambia. A limited edition of only fifty prints of each painting is available, each individually signed and numbered by the artist. The fundraising exhibition of the original paintings sold out, and the print editions are well on the way, so you never know, it might be an investment too! The larger prints of the giraffe, zebra and landscape measure 690X490mm, while the smaller Cape buffalo and African wild dog prints measure 510X410mm. All are premium quality lithographic process prints on acid-free paper. The larger prints are $150 each, the smaller ones $120, unframed, plus postage if required. There may be slight colour variation from the limited resolution website photos. All proceeds from sales go towards saving the endangered African wild dog in Zambia. |
